One blanket for the whole year: how the 3-in-1 system works

The ‘four seasons’ blanket is a versatile accessory for use throughout the year. It consists of two independent parts that can be connected with buttons, fasteners or snaps if necessary. One blanket is light and thin (summer), the other is thicker (mid-season). Maximum warmth is provided for cold winters. During this period, the two blankets should be joined together to form a single thick accessory.

Care and storage of all-season duvets

The specifics of cleaning bedding depend on the type of filling and the material of the cover. You can find important information about each product by reading the label. To keep your demi-season duvet in pristine condition, you can follow these general recommendations:

1. Shake daily to distribute the filling evenly and improve air circulation.
2. Air regularly (at least once a month) in the fresh air, avoiding direct sunlight.
3. Wash on a delicate cycle (temperature up to 40°C) using a mild detergent. Please note that some models are only suitable for professional cleaning.
4. Dry thoroughly after washing. Be sure to lay it flat on a horizontal surface. You can use a tumble dryer if it is suitable for the specific product.

All-season duvets must be stored clean and dry. Use covers made of natural breathable materials (e.g. linen or cotton) for packaging. Store accessories in dry, cool rooms away from sources of heat, moisture and direct sunlight.

What fillings are used in ‘4 Seasons’ blankets

The type of filling determines the practicality and durability of bedding, as well as the degree of warmth and comfort it provides. In the TEP online store, you can order a ‘4 Seasons’ blanket with the following fillings:

1. Cotton. A natural, hypoallergenic, breathable material that absorbs moisture well. Compared to other types of filling, it can be heavier.
2. Aloe vera. Combines the advantages of synthetic fibre (hypoallergenicity, durability) with the soothing properties of the well-known plant. This soft, comfortable filling is ideal for people with sensitive skin.
3. Bamboo. Attractive for its antibacterial properties, breathability, hypoallergenicity and good thermoregulation — ideal for the warm season. Bamboo is inferior to some fillings in terms of hygroscopicity.
4. Sheep's wool. Thanks to its ability to absorb moisture combined with excellent thermal insulation properties, it creates dry warmth. This is the ideal microclimate for healthy sleep. The therapeutic effect of sheep's wool is due to its high lanolin content.
5. Nettle. A versatile filling for year-round use that combines hypoallergenicity, antibacterial properties, good breathability and hygroscopicity. Its advantage is easy care. Natural fibre dries quickly after washing and does not deform.
6. Down/feathers. A lightweight, soft, durable filling with good thermal insulation, high breathability and hygroscopicity. The elastic material easily recovers after compression, retaining its shape and without clumping.
7. Soy. An eco-friendly, lightweight, breathable filling with good thermoregulation. It has antibacterial properties and retains its original shape after washing.
8. Eco-friendly synthetics — Quadro Air or Double Air fibres. These are lightweight, elastic, voluminous non-woven materials that are hypoallergenic and do not absorb odours. Blankets with this filling do not require complex care.

The range also includes models with combined fillings. You can order an all-season blanket with cotton (30%) + Double Air fibres (70%) filling or sheep's wool + Double Air fibres in a 50/50 ratio. Combining fillings allows you to improve the finished product by combining the useful properties of different materials.
